For the past two years, Cyber-Zone has been transforming the way Western Newfoundland and Labrador plays the classic game of tag.  Through the use of intricate mazes, fog machines, black lights, and laser guns, people of all ages are being introduced to the marvel of laser tag.

With the help of CBDC Humber, Shannon Morgan opened Cyber-Zone in March of 2004.  Since that time, the business has been able to attract more and more people to this growing sport.  Visually exciting, with laser light beams zipping through the air, and physically exhilarating, laser games are fun for all.

The basic rules of the game are relatively simple, with players aiming phasers or laser guns that emit light beams at light-sensitive receivers on the opposing team’s vests.  The object of the game is to score points by tagging your opponent by shooting them with the light beams.  The laser tag play arena is complete with a combat maze, fog machines, high-tech lighting, a sound system, an infra-red scoring system, and real-time computer communications.  The game combines the thrill of the hunt with camaraderie – all in a safe, family environment.

The business also has a party room which is available for all types of events, including: birthday parties, youth group socials, and fundraising activities, to name a few.  A variety of weekly specials are available which include discounted game play and party packages.

The business is located at 6 Commercial Street in Corner Brook, NL.  Hours of operation are 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturdays, and 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sundays.  For more information, call 639-8468.  Come out and enjoy extreme play – the laser tag way!  Cyber- Zone: extreme fun, extreme excitement, extreme play!
