Service Standards

CBDC Humber is committed to providing you with excellent service that meets your needs. We welcome your feedback as it is essential in helping us better understand your needs in order to improve and expand our service offerings within our designated boundaries.

When you contact CBDC Humber, you will find friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and professional staff, who you can expect to adhere to our following service standards “under normal conditions”:

  • Our staff will be available to speak to you from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. ( except as noted during Summer office hours and designated holidays) Monday to Friday;
  • Our automated services together with our electronic mail are available for use 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
  • Our toll- free number is 1-888-303-2232
  • Our staff are committed in following up with you within one business day of your initial inquiry;
  • When deemed appropriate, our staff are committed in scheduling appointments with you within five working days of your initial contact;
  • You can expect a decision to your initial loan application or other program applications at a minimum of four weeks from the date the application is received at our office;
  • You can expect to receive confirmation of approval and/or an Letter of Offer on all approved loan applications with 3 business days of the date of the loan approval meeting;
  • For Accountability and Transparency, the Annual Report of CBDC Humber shall be posted on our website annually;
  • Your right to Privacy and Confidentiality shall be first and foremost within the operations of the Corporation, its Board of Directors and Corporation staff.

Remember that messages you send by e-mail may not always be secure. They could be intercepted by a third party thus, you may not want to send any confidential information to us by e-mail.
